Anne Linkner (nee Kolibersky) of Hilton Head Island died on September 29, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of Bill for 60 years. Devoted mother to Debbie (John), Bud (Katie), Margie (Don), and Greg (JoAnne). Cherished grandmother of Tanya, MaryKate, Val, Johnny, Tommy, Craig, Amanda, Jaycie, Shea, Maeve, Kyle, Layna and Annie.  Beloved great grandmother of Alina, Isla, and Easton.
 

She was a dedicated physical education teacher and athletic coach for the Rockville Centre School District for over 20 years.

Anne enjoyed spending time with friends playing tennis, golf, and bridge at Hempstead Country Club and Palmetto Dunes Plantation. As an avid reader, Anne participated in book clubs, writing clubs, and was the author of her memoir, Elephants Never Forget.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Francis by the Sea Catholic Church on Hilton Head Island Friday, October 28th at 10:00 AM. Following the Mass, please join us for lunch at the Family Center, just steps from the church.
